Dr. Varun Chandrashekaran successfully defended his dissertation titled “A study of hepatic Purinergic receptor X 7 molecular mechanisms in ectopic intestinal inflammation in environmental NAFLD” on the 26th of November 2017. He is currently working as a postdoctoral research associate at Weill Cornell Medical College, NY under the guidance of Dr. Lorraine Gudas.

Dr. Firas Alhasson successfully defended his dissertation titled “Environmental links to Ectopic kidney diseases” on 3rd, May 2018. He has received a postdoctoral fellow position from the University of Calgary, Canada.

Dr. Muayad Albadrani successfully defended his dissertation titled “Microcystin Exposure and Liver Injury Outcomes in NAFLD” on the 29th of October 2019. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor at Taibah University, Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Sutapa Sarkar successfully defended her dissertation titled “Study of the inflammatory and fibrotic pathology in the gut following microcystin exposure under conditions of NAFLD” on 12th November 2019. She is currently working as a postdoctoral employee under Dr. Natalie Torok in the division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology at the Stanford University School of Medicine.

Dr. Diana Kimono successfully defended her dissertation titled “Microbiome targeted therapies in Gulf War illness” on 23rd March 2020. She is currently working as a Postdoctoral fellow under Dr. Jeffrey Weber at Perlmutter Cancer Center, NYU Langone Medical Center.

Dr. Ayn Mondal is currently working as a Postdoctoral fellow under Dr. Elizabeth Mellins at the Department of Pediatrics, Stanford School of Medicine.

Dr. Somdatta Chatterjee is currently working as a Research Scientist in IGeneX Inc. at Milpitas, CA, USA.        

Dr. Ratanesh Kumar Seth is currently working as a Study Director II at Eurofins Discovery at St. Charles, Missouri, United States.
