M.S., Ph.D. Role: Laboratory Specialist
Dr. Somdatta Chatterjee has completed her M.S in Molecular biology and Genetics from Presidency college in the year of 2011 and conducted her Ph.D graduate research under the guidance of Dr. Sulagna Basu at the division of Bacteriology, National Institute of Cholera and enteric Diseases(ICMR), Kolkata, India. Her Ph.D thesis was focused on Transmissible antibiotic resistance mechanism in nosocomial pathogens isolated from neonates. Her research give some insight about how the resistance against different antimicrobials develop in the neonatal septicemic patients. She had been awarded Ph.D in Microbiology from university of Calcutta in 2019.
