Dr. Suvarthi Das successfully defended her dissertation titled ” Molecular cues of Pattern recognition receptor pathways in redox toxicity driven environmental NASH” on 25th April 2016. After completing her studies with the Chatterjee lab, she is currently working as a postdoctoral position with Dr. Natalie Torok at the University of California at Davis after a brief stay at University of Massachusetts-School of Medicine .




Dr. Diptadip Dattaroy successfully defended his dissertation titled “ A Mechanistic Study of MicroRna21 induced hepatic fibrosis and use of Sparstolonin B in remediation of Environmental NAFLD ” on 13th September, 2017 and has accepted a postdoctoral fellowship at NIDDK under the guidance of Dr. Jurgen Wess.




Dr. Varun Chandrashekaran successfully defended his dissertation titled  “A study of hepatic Purinergic receptor X 7 molecular mechanisms in ectopic intestinal inflammation in environmental NAFLD” on the 26th November, 2017. He is currently working as a postdoctoral research associate at Weill Cornell Medical College, NY under the guidance of Dr. Lorraine Gudas.
