Dr. Suvarthi Das successfully defended her dissertation titled ” Molecular cues of Pattern recognition receptor pathways in redox toxicity driven environmental NASH” on 25th April 2016. After completing her studies with the Chatterjee lab, she is currently working as a postdoctoral position with Dr. Natalie Torok at the University of California at Davis after a brief stay at University of Massachusetts-School of Medicine .




Dr. Diptadip Dattaroy successfully defended his dissertation titled “ A Mechanistic Study of MicroRna21 induced hepatic fibrosis and use of Sparstolonin B in remediation of Environmental NAFLD ” on 13th September, 2017 and has accepted a postdoctoral fellowship at NIDDK under the guidance of Dr. Jurgen Wess.




Dr. Varun Chandrashekaran successfully defended his dissertation titled  “A study of hepatic Purinergic receptor X 7 molecular mechanisms in ectopic intestinal inflammation in environmental NAFLD” on the 26th November 2017. He is currently working as a postdoctoral research associate at Weill Cornell Medical College, NY under the guidance of Dr. Lorraine Gudas.





Dr. Firas Alhasson successfully defended his dissertation titled “Environmental links to Ectopic kidney diseases” on 3rd, May 2018. He has received a postdoctoral fellow position from the University of Calgary, Canada.
