Suvarthi was awarded $1000 as an award by the Toxicology and Exploratory Pathology Specialty Section (TEPSS) of Soceity of Toxicology (SOT). Her award winning spree continues since beginning of the year.

The lab is particularly interested in conducting both lab based and epidemiology research to understand the role of the environment in development of metabolic disease.
